Subtle, but undeniable

I know I should be doing my POA work(I have loads of work waiting for me to complete) instead of typing on the desktop now but I just had to... I apologize for the lack of updates at this space, but my competitions ended just 2 days ago.
I fared pretty badly I guess but I'm quite relieved that everything's over. I'll miss training (At Sino/in school, my teammates/new friends) so, sooo much. I remember how badly I wanted to step down last year/early this year, but it's not the case now. :(  
There's always an end to everything, right?

Anyway, here are pictures from Saturday when I went out with my girls to celebrate my birthday in advance!

Hunger Games

A few of my teammates and I performed for my school's highly anticipated 18th Founder's Day this Friday! I'm so glad it turned out much better than I'd expected. I'm really proud of you guys. But I guess it's also the last time I'm performing in school... :-(
We caught The Hunger Games right after the performance and I must say, the whole movie was so overwhelmed with emotions! Really one of the most awesome movies(or even considered the best) I've watched over the past few years. :')

Anyway... My Grandma just left for America for three whole months to help my aunt who's conceiving her second child. I'll miss her soo much. Stay safe xxx

Weary-eyed, dry throat

I'm sorry there aren't any other pictures I can post except the ones of my face(and yes I'm wearing the Ngee Ann-Tartica shirt haha)....
It had just occured to me that Prelim 1 is in 5 weeks. At times like this, I would make a vow to myself that for the remaining days, I would bury my head in my books, and concentrate on my studies so as to obtain desirable results. It was a mere velleity though, my L1R5 score has never gone below 25.
But after much pondering... and that times have changed, no lip services from now on. ;)

So who's gonna watch you die?

Shall make today a productive Sunday after I'm done with this post. An update on my life(though not very appealing):
- My CA results are crap (slight improvement in subjects but still)
- Enjoyed my weekend: Impromptu class chalet/bbq on friday, shopping on saturday!!!
- Missed Death Cab's concert SIGH :'(
- Taking part in Sports Day (20x100) and got informed that we have to train for it. No more sleeping in for the subsequent Wednesday mornings
- Haven't started training hard for my competition at all, feeling the tension now
- I'm such a spendthrift ugh
